This eco basket is made entirely out of repurposed tshirts that ultimately would have ended up in a landfill. I take the cleaned tshirts and painstaikingly cut them into 1" wide ribbons of tarn (tshirt yarn). Then this yarn is crocheted tightly to make a flexible but stiff basket.
